Recently met Hanno Berger, secretary en initiator of the Dutch foundation " Stichting Dierennood ".
We discussed foreign workplacement for students in secondary Vocational Education and Training.
In the past Hanno has worked for several travel agencies and feels great involvement with animal welfare. Going arround the world he visited al lot of animal shelters. Experience and passion are now combined in his work for the foundation Stichtin Dierennood, resulting in a website dierenstages.nl. This website contains a great number of foreign locations for animal shelter. He knows all the mentioned locations personally or they where nominated to him by reliable sources. According to Berger they are all reliable addresses for internship of students from courses Animal care or Para-veterinary. To my opinion the website is in a positive way complementary to the Aequor-register of accredited companies and a possible starting point for foreign work placement.#aequor
